Bet the Farm's story began in 2006 with Nancy Tisch’s vision — an idea to fill a storefront in the lakeside village of Aurora on the East Side of Cayuga Lake. The initial plan was to make enough wine to “qualify” as a winery enabling them to sell food and wine on the same shelves. What has happened since then has been amazing!
Each year their production has grown and each year they continue to sell out of their wines. Nancy and Kit Kalfs, her husband and general manager of the winery, persist in bringing new and amazing wines to the Finger Lakes.
